Naturopathic medicine is a health care profession that focuses on prevention of disease and optimization of health. Naturopathic doctors are highly trained to treat the whole person, including physical symptoms as well as mental, emotional, social and environmental factors affecting health. With a goal of finding the root cause of illness, naturopathic doctors perform an extensive health history, physical exams and diagnostic laboratory testing.

Naturopathic treatments are always individualized and start with the least invasive approach. Specific treatments may include lifestyle adjustments, diet and nutritional support, supplementation with vitamins, minerals and herbs and treatment with acupuncture or spinal alignment.

Dr. Gardiner is a naturopathic doctor with a focus on the health of women and children. As a mom herself, she is passionate about working with women through pregnancy and postpartum care. She also has experience in managing digestive concerns, hormonal imbalances, chronic fatigue and sleep disturbances, and mental/emotional concerns. Dr. Gardiner believes that education is the key to living a healthier life and therefore strives to educate her patients on their health conditions and empower them to make small changes daily towards healthier living.
